Feng Changgen, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province. He was born in 1953, and graduated from College of Chemistry of Leeds University of United Kingdom with a Doctorate Degree in 1983. After he got his degree, he came back China and worked at Beijing Institute of Technology. He was the Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001. Currently, he is a Member of the 11th NPC Standing Committee, a Member of the 11th NPC Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, and a Member of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology.
